New Business:

Fred Graham suggested playing the Star Spangled Banner before the shows. He will be in charge of purchasing a CD player and CD for that purpose.

Several members have offered to take the new show bills to the Springfield Horse Fair for distribution.

The show rules were discussed and amended accordingly. A motion to add an Open Novice Trail Class as well as an additional Jumping Class was made and accepted.

Sawdust delivery: 16 foot long x 8 foot wide x 52″ tall truck load of sawdust for sale. It is a double load from what is typically delivered. Call Tom for pricing and availability: cell phone number is 314-267-6134.

April 11^th will be the first trail ride of the year, with April 18^th as the rain date. It will start at 10:00 am at Greensfelder Park and a Potluck meal is planned.

Old Business:

A committee was appointed to organize the work date which is scheduled for April 10^th at 10 am with a rain date of April 17^th.  That committee consists of Robby Young, Jan Corvallis, Janene Lively, and Tom Freeman and Linda Freeman.  Mike Fleming volunteered to clean out the LTR trailer and organize it.

It was decided to keep the large show bill and a tentative date of March 1^st for its completion was proposed.

An audit for the club to be done by the Trustees was discussed.

Don’t forget to deworm your horses and save the UPC code from any Farnam dewormer.  They can be turned in and the club will be paid $1 for each one.

Remember December 5th is the Christmas party and award ceremony. There will be a white elephant sale with Walter as the auctioneer. All the money collected will go straight to the club so feel free to please donate stuff for the white elephant auction horse related or not. Please let Tom know if you will be attending if you have not already.

Fun show on October 31 is cancelled due to weather and water.

Last Trail Ride

October 24^th at Greensfelder

The club will provide meat and utensils for lunch. Remember to bring a dish and or drinks. The trail ride is October 24^th at 10:30am.

New Business:

The fun show this weekend was rescheduled because the pleasure show was changed to October 17^th.  The fun show was moved to October 31^st at 1:00pm. Members are free and non-members will be charged $10. Don’t forget the pumpkin carving contest; make sure to bring your pumpkin carved. We need more help for the remaining shows. Don’t forget the costume class at the October 17^th pleasure show.

Old Business:

The last canceled show was canceled due to the arena being to muddy, it was the muddiest it has ever been. There was discussion about what we could put in the arena to help with all the water next year. There was a board out at the arena we are just waiting for a new one to replace it.
