THE RULES
LL GENERAL HORSE SHOW RULES APPLY. A COPY OF THE RULES IS AVAILABLE AT THE ANNOUNCERS STAND.
- All General Horse Show Rules Apply. Rules are available at the announcers stand.
- No refunds after the show begins.
- All youth (under 18) must wear helmets anytime mounted on a horse.
- Youth (under 18) are not allowed to show stallions. Negative Coggins must be presented at registration for all horses on the grounds
- No alcoholic beverages or pets other than horses or service animals are allowed.
- The Judge's ruling is final.
- Boots or appropriate shoes required at all times, collared shirts are required when showing.
- Must continue in forward motion in all speed classes. Cruelty to animals will not be tolerated.
- The same horse is allowed to run more than once in a class in youth division only. First rider is only eligible for high points, additional riders ride as exhibitors only. Exhibitors will ride after remaining single competitors.
- In speed events, horses must enter and exit the arena at a walk or trot and not begin run until the gate is closed. Failure to do so will result in a "No Time".
- To be eligible for all year end awards, exhibitors must be a Lincoln Trail Riders member, pay the refundable work deposit of $25, work a show (both divisions), and compete in the same class a minimum of three times with the same horse/rider combination.
PLEASURE DIVISION
- 1. Open Stock Type Halter - Quarters, paints, appaloosa, etc. not eligible for class 2.
- 2. Non-stock Type Halter - Arabians, Walkers, Morgans, Saddlebreds, etc. not eligible for class 1.
- 3. Open Showmanship - Pattern to be posted.
- 4. Lead Line - Ages six and under.
- 5. Pee Wee Walk Trot / Favorite Gait.
- 6. Youth Walk Trot / Favorite Gait.
- 7. Adult Walk Trot / Favorite Gait.
- 8. Pee Wee English Pleasure
- 9. Youth English Pleasure.
- 10. Adult English Pleasure.
- 11. Jack Benny Country Pleasure - Riders 39 and over. Walk, trot, favorite gait. English or western. Not eligible for high point.
- 12. Open Equitation English or Western - Patern to be posted.
- 13. Pee Wee Western Pleasure - Western tack & attire required.
- 14. Youth Western Pleasure - Western tack 7 attire required.
- 15. Adult Western Pleasure - Western tack & attire required.
- 16. Open Ranch Pleasure - Walk, jog, lope both directions, extended jog and lope at least in one direction. Other aneuvers may be asked at judge's discretion.
- 17. Open Ranch Riding - pattern class.
- 18. Open Trail - pattern - in hand allowed but no points given.
- 19. Novelty - June (egg & spoon), September (egg & spoon), October (costume contest).

- 20. Training Barrels - Max 2 runs.
- 21. Lead Line Barrels.
- 22. Pee Wee Barrels.
- 23. Youth Barrels.
- 24. Adult Barrels.
- 25. Stake Race.
- 26. Pee Wee Flag.
- 27. Youth Flag.
- 28. Adult Flag.
- 29. Training Poles - max two runs.
- 30. Lead Line Poles.
- 31. Pee Wee Poles.
- 32. Youth Poles.
- 33. Adult Poles
- 34. Pee Wee Key Hole.
- 36. Adult Key Hole.
